Mark W. Carmean is a trial attorney whose practice includes domestic and family law, criminal defense, DUI/DWI, traffic, personal injury, and general litigation matters.

Mark has over fourteen years of legal experience and regularly appears before the District and Circuit Courts in Calvert, St. Mary’s, Charles, Prince George’s, and Anne Arundel Counties.

PERSONAL

Mark lives and works in Calvert County, where he and his wife, Erika, raise their two children. Erika is a 1987 graduate of Northern High School and works as a transactional lawyer for a Washington, D.C. area non-profit organization. 

Mark is active in the community where he serves as a coach for his children’s sports teams.  Mark enjoys running and weight lifting, and is an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and Duke Blue Devils.

PRO BONO

Mark has served on the Scholarship Committee of the Calvert County Bar Association, volunteered in the Pro Bono Domestic Clinic, served as a mock trial judge, and served as a court appointed Panel Attorney in criminal matters.
